This is the beautiful “Fairlawn fall “located in a massive tea estate at Sami malai- Sri Lanka.I was very lucky to capture this fall on the rain season with its full glory.

Hi Mate. Thanks a lot for coming by. Yes its an awesome place.

that waterful looks very surreal and calming, i feel that the tree in front of it takes away a bit of it's glory though

This is absolutely beautiful. You were definitely lucky to capture this image. And we're all lucky you deigned to share with the world :D There's such a strong feeling of serenity in this piece, I'm a little disappointed you haven't decided to make this a print. Like the previous commenter said, the tree detracts a little from the full majesty of the waterfall. On the other hand, it does do quite well at pulling the eye away from the waterfall and getting it to examine the rest of the image. Great piece

Thank you very much for the kind comment.

On this vantage point it was not possible for me to focus out of the tree. This viewing balcony is about 30 feet high above the ground so its a narrow path which leaves no choice. But later on I started to admire the beauty of the tree also since it was nicely blending to the nature around.

Dude this is an awesome photo, I love it! I always dream that places like this exist, and there's something very oriental about it, and so peaceful. I could almost taste the air and hear the water faling. Thanks for this! :)
